Top News and Magazines Apps in Europe: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the news and magazine app category in Europe saw varied performance trends across the top five applications, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

X (Formerly Twitter) from X Corp. experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $605K in late February. Weekly downloads showed fluctuation, starting the quarter at approximately 437K and ending at 353K. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 61M.
